Blic Inc. specializes in the field of development and manufacturing of optical elements with special optical coatings of various assignments including:

·        Development and manufacturing of optical coatings in ultra-violet, visible and near infrared spectral regions, mainly for ophthalmic glass lenses.

·        Band and narrow-band filters, cut on filters, beam splitters, antireflection  coatings and dielectric mirrors at 0.4 - 14.0µm are produced for items manufacturing and special purposes.

The firm was set up in 1991. It consists of highly skilled experts in the field of optical coatings development and manufacturing. It has wide opportunities of an optimum design of optical coatings calculation according to the customer’s technical requirements.

In industrial division business, it has the necessary equipment for optical coatings manufacturing and quality control:

·        Vacuum machines for coatings manufacturing equipped with electron-beam and thermal evaporators and the photometric system to control the layers thickness over evaporation process.

·        Ultrasonic washing machines for lens cleaning.

·        Spectrophotometers for optical measurements and special equipment for mechanical and humidity durability testing.

Monthly production capacity is up to 20,000 pieces of 70 mm diameter glass lenses with various coatings and up to 2,000 pieces of  silicon wafers with  1.1-15µm infrared coatings.
